<title>Artificial Neural Network Based Power Flow Analysis for Micro Grids</title>
<link>http://dspace.beu.edu.tr:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/13785</link>
<description>Artificial Neural Network Based Power Flow Analysis for Micro Grids
Efe, Serhat Berat; Cebeci, Mehmet
This paper proposes a neural network based power flow analysis method that applied on a grid connected&#13;
and ring-shaped micro grid. As the use of micro grids increasing rapidly, it becomes necessary to analyze&#13;
them for different operating and loading conditions as large power systems. At the outset, a MG is designed&#13;
and simulated under MATLAB / Simulink platform. Normal operation data collected and stored. Then,&#13;
different loading scenarios performed, operational data collected and stored to use for proposed method.&#13;
Intelligent systems are used to process these data and also for training. After training a fully different&#13;
scenario is created and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation study.

<title>The Role of Energy Management in Microgrids With Hybrid Power Generation System</title>
<link>http://dspace.beu.edu.tr:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/13783</link>
<description>The Role of Energy Management in Microgrids With Hybrid Power Generation System
Kocaman, Behçet; Abut, Nurettin
Nowadays, consumption of energy is gradually increasing, the conscious for protecting environment is&#13;
improving and liberalization in energy market is proceeding. Furthermore, the distribution of traditional&#13;
energy sources is not homogeneous. These reasons are increasing interest to create policies for benefiting&#13;
from renewable sources better by developing newer technology and to fuel cell based alternative&#13;
distributed generation systems. Energy generation systems like wind, photovoltaic (PV), micro&#13;
hydroelectric are the promising and the most important renewable energy technologies. Moreover, fuel&#13;
cell based systems will indicate a great potential for future applications of distributed generation because&#13;
of their quick developing technology, high productivity, pollutant gases with no or low emission and their&#13;
elastic structures. In this study, energy management of a hybrid microgrid that was renewable energy&#13;
based (wind, photovoltaic, micro hydroelectric) was provided by a computer program reformed in&#13;
Microsoft C Sharp(C#) programming language in order to supply electric energy to small locations like&#13;
holiday camps which were far away from energy distributing systems and other locations. It was observed&#13;
that demanded energy was met by the data taken from generation sources thanks to this developed&#13;
program. The importance of the energy management was explained by analyzing one year results via&#13;
graphics.

<description>On Graphs of Dualities of Bipartite Posets
Topal, Selçuk
In this paper we introduce some new graphs obtained from bipartite posets. We show that lower-minimal&#13;
graph of a bipartite poset is isomorphic to upper-maximal graph of dual of the poset by using set&#13;
representations of the posets by using set representations of the posets.
